Ground Control — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Ground Control ("the app") is a remote client for Claude Code, which you run on your own Mac. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

Your content stays on your own machine

Ground Control connects to a server that you run on your own Mac, over your own private network. Your sessions, messages, terminal activity, files, and voice recordings are sent only to your computer. We (TAGC, LLC) do not receive, store, or have access to any of that content.

What we don't do

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share any information. There are no user accounts.

Push notifications

If you enable alerts, Apple issues an anonymous device token so notifications can be delivered to your phone. This token is used solely to route your own alerts to your device. It is not linked to your identity and is never used for tracking or advertising.

Microphone

The microphone is used only when you tap the dictation button to record a message for one of your sessions. The recording is sent to your own server for transcription and is not retained by us.

Children

Ground Control is a developer tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
